Who Am I?

Don’t you know who I am? Good, me neither. I suppose I’m Charles Matthews, sometimes known as Chaz or Chuck. In the 90’s, I played and sang and wrote songs for Pelado Records punkers the Dimestore Haloes. I have also written for many, many, many fanzines, magazines, websites and publications over the years. I self-released two books in the early 2000s that are now (mercifully) out of print. Since roughly 2011, I have sang and played guitar and written songs for Rum Bar Records power pop artistes the Cheap Cassettes. I live in Seattle, I’m happily married to my very patient wife Jacque, and have four lovely cats: Pizza, Mabel, Laszlo and Steve. I’m a Sagittarius. My fave guitar is the Telecaster. I like spaghetti.
